Two Player-Driven Improvements: Resume Any Puzzle and a Smarter Keyboard
Thank you to everyone who sends feedback — two recent suggestions in particular made CrossEights better for everyone.
Resume any unfinished puzzle from your history
"If I look in my history, I can see several games that are marked 'not played' but there's no way for me to go and play them."
That was a clear gap. If a puzzle is sitting in your history, you should be able to jump straight back in. Now, any unfinished puzzle has a Play or Continue link so you can pick up right where you left off.
For daily puzzles, this ties into the new Past Puzzles feature on CrossEights Daily. If you missed a daily puzzle, you can open the archive and play it as a late game — no more unfinished entries sitting in your history with nowhere to go.

A smarter keyboard with color tags
"I would love if the letters that are revealed were greyed out in the keyboard — it would help stop me from trying words with letters I've already revealed."
The in-game keyboard now shows the same color tags used in the hint modal: a green corner tag appears if the selected letter is present on the grid, and a red tag appears if the letter does not appear at all. It gives you an immediate visual read on what you already know, so you can stop guessing letters that have already been revealed.
