Every day of the week brings a different level of challenge in CrossEights Daily. Here's the schedule so you know what to expect:
- 🟢 Monday & Tuesday — Easy
- 🟡 Wednesday & Thursday — Medium
- 🔴 Friday & Saturday — Difficult
- 🟣 Sunday — Special Blend
What's Special Blend? Sunday puzzles contain a balanced mix of easy, medium, and difficult words in a single grid — designed to test your full range.
Why a schedule? It gives everyone a predictable rhythm. Early in the week you can warm up with familiar vocabulary. By Friday, the words get tougher — more obscure, less common. And Sunday's blend keeps you on your toes.
The schedule also makes daily leaderboard comparisons more meaningful — everyone faces the same difficulty on the same day, so scores are directly comparable.

Difficulty is determined by word frequency data from the Corpus of Contemporary American English, so each tier reflects how common or obscure the words in the puzzle are.
