Rivals System

We've added a Rivals system so you can track and compete against specific players over time.

Add any player as a rival from the leaderboard, player stats modal, or challenge history. Once added, you'll see head-to-head stats including wins, losses, ties, and point spread across all puzzles you've both completed. The new Rivals page (accessible from the menu or leaderboard) shows your full rivals list with "Next Challenge" suggestions—puzzles your rivals have solved that you haven't tried yet.

When you add someone as a rival, they'll receive a notification with the option to add you back for mutual tracking.

This is the first iteration of the Rivals feature—more improvements are coming as we refine these new capabilities. Feedback is especially welcome on this one!
