PuzzCulture.com Takes a Look at CrossEights Daily

CrossEights Daily got a nice mention this week in PuzzCulture’s latest “The Week in Puzzles and Games” roundup. PuzzCulture is an independent site covering puzzles, games, constructors, and the broader culture around solving. It’s written for people who are genuinely interested in how puzzles work—not just in finding the next game to play.

Glenn at PuzzCulture spent some time with the game and described CrossEights as a “crossword-inspired deduction puzzle” — which is a pretty good shorthand for what we’ve been trying to build.

He also called out the mix of deduction, letter placement, and scoring, and said he found the combination “really fun.”

It’s especially gratifying to see CrossEights discussed alongside other interesting puzzle projects by someone who spends a lot of time thinking about games and puzzle design.
